3rd Anniversary

Sadly, today marks the 3-year anniversary of our beloved SHADOW's death. Through the difficult time we are beginning to realize the many magical wonders that SHADOW continues to send to us each and every day. We believe that he is always with us. It is that belief that has given us a new appreciation of the world around us. Today, we will honor our little boy by smiling knowing that he is guiding us and watching over us...making sure that we cherish the time we share. Life is so short...and each moment is precious. SHADOW had a zest for life and an appreciation of everything in his world...a treasured lesson for each of us.

We continue to work toward the creation of The SHADOW Law. This would create legislation recognizing pets as companions, not mere property. We are blessed to have the support and aide of the Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF) and a very dedicated attorney in Vermont, Heidi Groff. Several months ago, we traveled to Vermont for depositions in the legal case. Papers have been filed in the court system; we are awaiting a status update from Ms. Groff very soon.

This letter will update you on our quest to seek Justice for SHADOW. We are blessed by your friendship, support and caring. Thank you one and all.
